How this site makes money.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
When an entry points you to a part, that's usually an Amazon affiliate link. If you buy through it, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That commission is how The Fix Diary pays for itself.
Here is what that does and doesn't mean:
- The commission never decides the recommendation. I link the part that I either purchased or would buy myself. When that part isn't on Amazon, I say so and link it anyway, commission or not.
- I don't link products I haven't used unless the text says exactly where the recommendation comes from — owner consensus or official guidance — and labels it that way.
- Prices quoted are what I paid, when I paid it. Amazon prices move; the linked page always shows the current one.
- No sponsored posts, no urgency banners, no fake scarcity. If a manufacturer ever gives me something free to review, the entry will say so in the first paragraph.
